The RED Flags Of A Fraudulent Internet Car Listing
Here is another video Doc produced to point out the RED Flags of an Internet Car Scam! New seller with no feedback, Auto Check shows the cars last known location is in California, but the seller is located in Iowa. The listing is asking buyers to contact the seller to buy it for $22,000, and is saying not to bid.
If you are car shopping on the net, I suggest you search Google for the cars VIN which should be on the listing: 5UXZV8C50BL417925 (example search). Look for other websites that the car has been listed on previously. Most importantly if you are sure it’s a legit deal, have the car and it’s title inspected.
Doc wrote this article “Used Car Buying And Selling Internet Advice” (link above) to help guide you through the Internet car buying or selling process. I suggest you take the time to read it. The butt you save just might be your own!
